Abstract |
This talk is devoted to present a new set of analytic solutions in Einstein gravity and pure Lovelock-Maxwell theory with negative cosmological constant. They describe Anti de-Sitter homogeneous black strings and black p-branes, and they are supported by minimally coupled, free scalar fields that depends linearly on the extended flat directions. These scalar fields offer the realization of momentum dissipation in the dual theory. We investigate the thermodynamic of these novel solutions and their holographic applications. |
