Abstract |
Advanced interferometric gravitational wave detectors have successfully performed the first two observational runs, opening the era of the gravitational wave astronomy. While an incremental improvement of the existing detectors is being realized within the near-term observing scenario set up by the LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA Collaborations, further upgrades have been identified to fully exploit the existing infrastructures. In this talk, the key features of the Advanced Virgo + upgrade project and its possible implementation plan will be discussed. |
