Abstract |
We study the perturbation induced by an extended body endowed with internal structure up to the quadrupole orbiting a black hole. The motion is described according to the Mathisson-Papapetrou-Dixon model. The metric perturbations are computed by using the Regge-Wheeler gauge in the framework of the Regge-Wheeler-Zerilli first order perturbation theory. |
