Title |
Physical Effects of Massless Cosmic Strings in Expanding Universe | |||||
Coauthors | ||||||||
Abstract |
A method for studying physical effects in cosmology caused by massless cosmic string is suggested. Perturbations of velocities of test bodies and anisotropy of cosmic microwave background generated by massless cosmic strings are analyzed. These phenomena are analogous to the string wake effect and the Kaiser-Stebbins effect for standard (massive) cosmic strings. Massless string and massive string effects are quite different at ultrahigh energies. The computation method is based on the observation that string horizon acts as a Cauchy surface where physical data are transformed by the spacetime holonomy. In this talk, massless string effects are considered in detail in a flat spacetime and in de Sitter Universe. |
