Title |
Late Time Evolution of Perfect Fluids Universes in f(R) Theories of Gravity" | |||||
Coauthors | ||||||||
Abstract |
Analytical results, about the qualitative behavior of FRW cosmological model arising from f(R) theories nonminimally coupled to matter, are reviewed. Assumptions on the scalar field potential arising from conformal compactification are shown to drive late time behavior i.e. formation of big crunch type singularities vs perpetual expansion. In the former case, the fluid equation of state plays a key role to dictate the matter dominance over scalar field, or viceversa. |
