Abstract |
Father Secchi's "L'Unita' dell forze fisiche" was printed in 1864 in Roma. In the intention of the author this book was intended to be a compendium of the modern concept of Physics, in a way understandable by readers with poor or none knowledge of mathematics. There are non formulas throughout the book. In this talk I will describe some of the concepts expressed by Secchi about the different fields examined with his 'kinetic' approach. |
