Abstract |
In my talk I will provide an updated and comprehensive overview on the search for the progenitors of Type Ia Supernovae. I will go through all the methods and techniques deployed so far, illustrating pros and cons for each of them. I will then draw the status of affairs of this quest which, despite of great efforts, still remains undecided. My presentation will be complementary to that of Wolfgang Kerzendorf. |
