Abstract |
We model the formation and evolution of accreting white dwarfs population with a hybrid binary population synthesis approach. We found the DTD of SNe Ia in SD scenario is inconsistent with observatios and the SNe Ia rate of Galaxy is smaller than observations. In addition, we investigate the X-ray and UV emission of accreting white dwarfs. These results are in good agreement with Chandra and SDSS observations. We also model the nova population in different types of galaxies and study the properties of nova populations. |
