Abstract |
We study structure and properties of low-density nuclear matter in the crust of neutron stars with strong magnetic field. The inhomogeneous nuclear matter in the neutron star crust is discussed by many authors. However, the influence of strong magnetic field is not enough studied yet. It is because the magnetic field breaks the spatial symmetry which was assumed frequently in the relevant studies. We employ the fully three-dimensional Thomas-Fermi plus RMF model for the study of inhomogeneous nuclear matter in strong magnetic field. Some preliminary results will be reported in the presentation. |
